AI agents for AI factories
Description complète de l’entreprise
Phaidra deploys AI agents for AI factories. Our two product lines cover both the facility and IT sides of traditional data centers and "AI factories." Phaidra Prism is an LLM-first AI assistant to the on-site operations teams in mission critical facilities. The Prism platform identifies, prioritizes and provides actionable insights to any issues in the facility mechanical systems. This platform also includes an LLM for natural language interaction between ops staff and their BMS, CMMS and EPMS - unifying silo'd systems and providing a simpler way for operations staff to make better decisions, faster. Phaidra Factory includes a line of purpose-built AI agents to orchestrate the power, cooling and workload management systems in AI factories. The first of these AI agents currently available is the Phaidra Factory DTC Liquid-cooling agent. This agent sits at the CDU controller and optimizes the TCS loop to deliver step function improvements in thermal stability, reliability and energy efficiency. This AI agent can be deployed across thousands of CDUs and dramatically reduces the thermal spikes that occur when AI workloads ramp up. Phaidra's AI agents work to maximize tokens per watt and reduce the overall power needed for cooling, enabling more power for IT deployment. Our co-founders and leadership team represent the combination of deep AI and machine learning expertise and data center operational experience from companies like Google-Deepmind and AWS with the applied knowledge of mission critical cooling systems from organizations like Trane Technologies and Johnson Controls. We are purpose-built for the data center industry.

About Phaidra
Phaidra builds AI agents for AI factories.
As demand for AI grows, data centers need to get more out of the power and infrastructure they already have. Power, cooling, and compute are closely connected, and making them work efficiently is one of the biggest challenges in scaling AI.
Phaidra builds AI agents that help data center operators understand their infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and optimize how their facilities run. Our agents connect data across IT and OT systems, helping teams find problems faster and use existing resources more effectively. Operators use Phaidra to optimize performance, reliability, and efficiency. From helping technicians get to the root cause of an issue to optimize cooling and power allocation, our work helps data centers maximize tokens per watt.
Phaidra was founded in 2019 by former Google, DeepMind, and Trane engineers. Our team brings deep experience in AI, cybersecurity, mission-critical cooling, data centers, and industrial controls. We believe deploying AI in production demands deep domain expertise. We work closely with our partners to tackle challenges around real-world infrastructure at gigawatt-scale.
Our team has a track record of applying AI to the toughest problems. We achieved superhuman performance with DeepMind’s AlphaGo and cut the energy needed to cool Google’s data centers by 40%. We know AI deeply, and we know how to apply it in production for massive impact.
Phaidra can only achieve its mission if we work well together. Our core values define how we do that: Agency, Velocity, Craft, and Truth. We look for people who embody these values. They help our team deliver excellence consistently and build an engaging, supportive culture.
Phaidra is headquartered in the USA, but we are 100% remote with no physical office. We hire internationally with support from our partner, OysterHR. Our team is spread across the USA, Canada, the UK, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Singapore, Australia, and India.
Who You Are
Phaidra helps customers apply AI to complex industrial and data-center environments. As a Technical Program Manager (TPM), you’ll lead customer-facing programs that bring Phaidra’s software into operation—coordinating deployments, expansions, and ongoing delivery across customer and internal teams.
You’ll be the person who turns complex, cross-functional work into clear plans and dependable outcomes. You’ll work closely with customers, Solutions Engineers, and colleagues across engineering and product, keeping priorities visible and surfacing risks early.
You’ll bring curiosity, ownership, transparency, direct communication, an outcome-focused approach, and empathy for customers and teammates. You’ll favor clear plans and fast feedback while adding enough process to help teams deliver—not process for its own sake.
Responsibilities
Lead technical customer programs from kickoff through deployment and ongoing support, including phased and multi-site rollouts.
Build and maintain practical plans with clear scope, milestones, owners, dependencies, and decision points; adapt plans as customer needs and technical realities evolve.
Serve as a trusted day-to-day program contact: communicate status, decisions, risks, and changes clearly; align expectations and drive timely follow-through.
Coordinate customer, Solutions Engineering, and internal engineering and product partners to resolve blockers and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Triage customer issues, establish priorities, track actions through resolution, and engage the right technical partners when escalation is needed.
Bring customer context and feedback into internal discussions so teams can make informed product, tooling, and process improvements.
Improve repeatable deployment and support practices through useful documentation, playbooks, and lightweight operating rhythms.
Keep program health, risks, decisions, and progress visible to stakeholders; identify delivery or capacity concerns early.
What you bring
Demonstrated experience leading complex technical programs or projects from planning through delivery, ideally in a customer-facing environment.
The ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and influence outcomes without relying on formal authority.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, including the judgment to deliver difficult updates directly and constructively.
A structured, pragmatic approach to planning, prioritization, issue resolution, and risk management.
Technical curiosity and the ability to understand unfamiliar systems, ask useful questions, and translate between customer needs and technical work.
A customer-focused mindset, strong ownership, and comfort working through ambiguity and changing priorities.
The ability to work effectively with distributed teams using clear documentation and asynchronous communication.
Key Qualifications
Minimum of 3+ years of technical project management experience
Experience working with diverse, remote teams to support enterprise customers.
Experience with LLMS, particularly in integrating them into day to day activities
Passion to learn about industrial controls and automation systems, mission critical cooling systems, and AI Machine Learning technology.
Ability to learn quickly and explain complex domain specific concepts to non-domain experts.
Ability to translate a combination of customer-stated and customer-implied needs into coherent requirement documentation for use by the software development team.
Experience with both waterfall and agile scheduling tools.
Exceptional verbal, written, organizational, presentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Work with data centers, industrial or building controls, automation systems, HVAC, chillers, cooling systems, or other critical infrastructure.
Understanding of mission critical cooling systems and their applications within data centers and other industrial facilities.
Strong proficiency in working with industrial operations teams and contributing to solving field operations related problems and challenges.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Customer deployments of software, AI/ML products, or operational technology across multiple sites.
Technical support, commissioning, implementation, or service-delivery programs.
**Relevant domain experience is valuable, but we’re also interested in people with strong technical program leadership who can learn the environment quickly.
