The security supervisor is responsible for the management of all security aspects for the 2300 Hogan Drive location. These duties include management of the assigned contract security staff, maintaining effective relationships with all stakeholders including KN operations staff working with Bell or Pharma clients, client staff working onsite or off site and all other stakeholders. Site Security supervisor is responsible for maintaining compliance with all security processes and in maintaining all installed security systems.

How you create impact

Support KN operations team in client initiatives and projects for the on site clients.

Supervise and support assigned contract security staff.

Manage installed security systems and coordinate any required repairs or maintenance.

Support Bell cargo security initiatives including management of GPS tracker deployment and investigative support.

Support Bell KPMG audit requirements.

Provide investigative support in reviewing inventory or process concerns and client requests.

Provide after hours intrusion alarm monitoring and response to coordinate actions to address alarm issues.

Maintain QSHE work instructions.

Support QSHE initiatives in security, quality, health & safety, and environment within the location.

Additional duties as defined by Tor ZQ-S.

What we would like you to bring

Diploma/Degree/Certificate in Security preferred.

3+ years experience managing security activities in operational environments.

3+ years experience managing security guard deployments.

Experience in managing security equipment installation projects.

Ability to manage, use and deploy security equipment including, intrusion alarm, access control, video surveillance systems and GPS tracking equipment.

Ability to operate in an ISO certificate environments as well as supporting Federal and Provincial regulations and guidelines as required.

Strong computer skills required, including full proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
